The Pietramonti Estate is a Stunning Luxury B&B located in the heart of Tuscany. We have breathtaking views, an infinity view pool and stunning luxury ensuite rooms - all this and much more in an amazing magestic Villa located between Pienza and Montepulciano - the best area in Tuscany.

We are a 17 acre working Estate in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Our Villa sits in the middle of our olive groves and vineyard, impossibly perched on the side of our stone mountain (Pietramonti)!
We offer our Guests beautifil luxury accommodation in our classic Villa with the possibility to experience authentic life in Tuscany.
We actively encourage our Guests to discover the many fascinating and varied areas of our land. Take a walk a midst the Olive Groves, the Vineyard, and discover the caves that were used by partisans in WWII. Go further afield and if the season is right pick fresh figs, almonds and peaches on your walk around the land or simply stay put on one of the sun terraces and take in the extraordinary views.
We also have an infinity spa plunge pool and jacuzzi hot tub to while away those hours after the strenuous acitvities of lying in the sun all day, or perhaps that little bit of sightseeing!!
We offer independent guest bedrooms all with luxury travertine bathrooms with walk-in rain dance showers. All of the bedrooms benefit from air-conditioning for the summer months and full central heating for the cooler months. Our rooms are an eclectic mix of both traditional Tuscan and luxury contemporary fittings including large oak beamed ceilings, local handmade cotto flooring, original art, ipod/ipad docking stations, in-room mini bar and built-in safe. For maximum comfort there are retractable insect screens fitted to all doors and windows allowing you to leave them open during even the hottest summer nights should you choose to.
Why not try some Pecorino from our neighbour across the valley (a lovely 15 minute walk a way) or try a selection of wines from any of the local vineyards (including ours!). If you fancy having a day without the car there is just so much to explore here right on your doorstep...all at your own pace of course. A real delight is the stunning walk from our front door taking you the 'locals route' into Pienza for a lazy lunch before the amble back home.
We are perfectly placed for visiting Montepulciano (10 minutes by car), Bagno vignoni (15 minutes), Montalcino (25 minutes) Cortona (40 minutes), Arezzo (45 minutes), Siena (50 minutes), Perugia (60 minutes), Assisi and Florence ( both 1 hour 25 minutes). Should you wish to visit the stunning natural beauty of the Tuscan coast then the Maremma national park has large stretches of unspoilt beaches (1 hour 15 mins by car). We also recommend the lovely Italian seaside town of Castiglione della Pescaia where you can feast on local fresh seafood.
These are just a few ideas to contemplate whilst you sit back and relax enjoying the tranquility here at Pietramonti....
Breakfast at Pietramonti can be taken on our terrace with the morning sun rising toward you from the east silhouetting the wonderful hill top town of Monticchiello. It really can be very hard to tear yourself away to start your day sightseeing when you have a fresh cappucino in hand and a view to die for....the conversation is usually quite good too! This is the relaxed pace of life here at The Pietramonti Estate & Country House.
The focal point of the Pietramonti Estate is the spectacular 'casa padronale' or manor house with its panoramic views south down the val d'orcia from all rooms. The classic Cypress lined white roads, the ancient hill top town of Monticchiello, the magnificence of mount cetona and mount amiata (two extinct volcanoes) and the ever changing light that constantly transforms the breathtaking scenery before you. This can be your 'Home in Tuscany' whenever you choose.
